The Artist is responsible for providing the Client live portraits service as detailed in this agreement. The Client seeks to engage the Artist for live portraits services at the price identified below.

Artist will be providing live portraits on location, illustrating guests in watercolor and pencil on 6" x 9" watercolor paper. These type of portraits will be limited to basic features with no face so that the Artist can complete them quickly. On average, an individual portrait can be finished in 3 minutes or couples in 5 minutes, relatively, with a rate of completion 12 to 20 portraits per hour. The Client(s) understands that the Artist can only illustrate so many portraits per hour and agrees to these terms. The cost for this service will be $200 per hour. If more time is needed during the event/party/reception, the rate can be prorated to accommodate any guests that are still wanting a portrait. The artist will provide the paper, art supplies, table, cloth, 3 chairs, and an a-frame sign with live portrait information for the event/party/reception unless Client(s) request differently. The Artist will setup no later than 30 minutes prior to the event/party/reception starting. Outdoors can be an option but needs to be specify in the notes if this is required.

If event/party/reception is further than 60 miles from 30904, a travel fee of $50.00 per 60 mile increments will be added. If travel is more than 120 miles, there might be a lodging and/or air travel fee. This will be agreed upon first, added as an amendment to the contract and will be invoiced separately.

AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

A retainer of 50% down & signed contract are required to reserve your event date and is non-refundable.

The non-refundable retainer is a fee that retains the artist’s services for your scheduled event date that the artist has turned down other work for. In the event that the client cancels before 7 days of the event date, the retainer of 50% down can be used as credit towards another service by the artist.

The final 50% of the total amount payment is due to the Artist 7 days prior to the event. If the Artist is asked to stay over the allotted time, prorated billing will be sent within 24 to 48 hours after the event.
